Babysitting Co-Op




The babysitting co-op is a program available exclusively to members of Packerland Parents Playgroup. If you need occasional child care due to appointments, errands or just need some free time from the kids, this is the program for you!

The co-op works on a point system. You'll earn points by babysitting member's children and spend points when someone watches yours. All co-op participants start with the same number of points, but how many you earn and spend is totally up to you.

Co-Op participants use a wesite called "babysitterexchange.com" to track points, memberships and schedules. Users post dates and times they'll need childcare and other users volunteer to provide childcare based on their schedules.







Rules of the Co-Op:


  • This program is available to members of PPP only;
  • Interested members must meet with the program organizer prior to being enrolled in the program;
  • Co-Op is not to be used as a substitution for daycare. Children cannot be babysat longer than five hours;
  • Participants must have renter's or home owner's insurance and be willing to provide proof of insurance to the program organizer upon request.
