Chain of Hands Across Lake Cane

On August 17th there is a special event at Lucky’s house to set an RPR world record for the longest human chain over a body of water.  This is in honor of the Man O’ War swim team’s 20th anniversary. this event is being used as a fundraiser for Orange County Special Olympics. Any donations will be given to our local county S.O .

About 16 teams(25 swimmers each) swim towards their own marker/Paddleboarder, then hold hands all the way (500 m) across to another shore.

what we need , folks with their own boards to be markers for the swimmers to swim to.

Great to see 345 people chained hand by hand across Lucky's lake. Awesome! They did it! Glad to be there and lend a hand. Lots of smiles and great spirit. My hat down to all that organized, sponsored and were part of this awesome event!

I have two boards and I am thrilled about this event. I have been teaching swimming lessons and training tri-atheletes in their swim portion for over 15 years. What a spectacular day this will be for all. See you early [masked]

Joe and I will be there! (Coffee in hand!) The early AM is difficult for all of us--but if we reflect on our own personal blessings and this ability to help others (Special Olympics), an early morning is an easy gift to give. I hope we/they have enough volunteers to pull off this "longest human chain over a body of water." BYOB community... we can make this happen!!!
