Cambridge Shamanic Circle

This is a local group I attend from time to time:

CAMBRIDGE SHAMANIC CIRCLE

Founded 1993

A shamanic community

that meets near Harvard Square,

in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

dedicated to the practice of "core" or universal shamanism,

and open to everybody

(beginners should first read 2. Learning about Shamanism)

meets on the Second and Fourth Fridays of every month

(except for the Fourth Friday in December)

at the Society of Friends ("Quakers"),

5 Longfellow Park, Cambridge.

You are invited to join us from 6.45 pm onwards.

We begin at 7 pm, and end at about 9.30 pm.

Minimum donation: $10 to cover rental (poverty-level: $5)

If you have them, please bring a notebook, a drum and a rattle,

a blanket or yoga mat to lie down on, and sacred objects for the altar.

Directions:

from Harvard Square

walk down Brattle Street for 5 minutes,

until Longfellow House appears on your right

and Longfellow Park on your left.

On the far side of the park is the Society of Friends.

The residential house is on the left -- you will find us

in the meeting house on the right.

Parking: widely available

in the crescent of Longfellow Park and also along Brattle Street

(but we are not allowed to park in the Friends' parking lot)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
