This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Garden! Today, 2.5 million plants, 25 display gardens, and four natural areas thrive here. Visit our anniversary website to view Garden milestones since the 1972 opening. While you're there, be sure to add your own memories!

Public Transit - Take the Metra toward Kenosha. Exit at Breaside. Walk West (Less than a mile) to the gardens.
Driving - Take I-94 North. When it splits with US-41 continue on US 41. Exit at Lake Cook Road and turn right. Turn right in to the garden parking lot.
Cost - Free if taking public transit. Otherwise there is a $20.00 per car parking fee.
