The purpose of the group is to explore parenting through the difficult teen years in an easy way with simple, effective and painless communication and relationship strategies that really work and work fast!

-What your teens communication/ behavior means and how to respond to it to create change

-How to get through to your teens and talk in a way they will listen and value what you say

-Set rules in the home that the teens value, keep and have a stake in

-Become partners with your teens to create a successful career plan

-How to assist your teen in being responsible for their chores, homework and life without reminders

-How to say things once so your teen will hear you and respond appropriately

-End arguing and fighting over the little things that get in the way

-Have your kids coming to you for advice instead of their teenage friends

 

Coach Leslie is a mother of three successful young adults and one teen, has a master's degree in education and has been working in transformational leadership and conflict resolution since 2004. Leslie is currently the Study Skills teacher, educational specialist and academic coach at Palo Alto Preparatory High School.
