Black Ops Friday Night Bring Your Own Paint - Hollywood Sports Park

Hey Folks,

We've really been having a blast Fridays at HSP when you can bring your own paint on Fridays so it's the best deal for playing there.  It's also only $18 for entry versus $27 on Sat/Sun.

Come and join us this Friday!

Gian and I stage out of the picnic table area right across from the rental and air stations.  You can also tell where we are over there by looking for the LARGE black Stanley and Husky rolling foot lockers we pack all of our stuff in.

This is going to be just simply walk on play.  There is definitely a different group of folks that go on Fridays and also lots of rental and new players so you're less likely to get shot to heck.  It is MUCH cooler temperature wise but we recommend folks have a thermal lens and/or a mask fan if possible to reduce fogging in your mask playing at night.  Check out some of our recent videos on our You Tube channel to see what playing at night under the lights is like!

Come on out!  I'll be there as early as 4:30pm.

You can text here to find us as well -

I'll watch for texts untill around 5pm when they start calling the first game.  I'll also try to zip tie our meetup banner to the picnic table for folks that show up and are trying to find where we're at.  It looks like this -

I've never been to HSP before, somewhat excited to check it out. I know we can bring our own paint on Fridays -- I only have about half a case left. Do they sell paint if we need it? If so, how much?

They sell paint in three different grades with a variety of amounts and prices. So if you already have some you can buy just another bag of say a few hundred or cases of 1800 to 2000 ranging from around $30 to $65 a case. The bags of a several hundred are around $12 or so again depending on if it is their low, med, or high grade paint.

Cool...I don't plan on buying tourney grade paint for rec play. Plus I overbore like crazy so I'm not really married to anything. A basic/intermediate grade paint will do. =)

I also recommend you try to eat before or plan to eat late after the park closes in order to get as many games as possible...else...bring a snack with you. There is no real break for dinner so as soon as one game finishes they start calling for the next game within 5-10 minutes. The park does have vending machines for drinks and the pro-shop has drinks for sale also but no real food. There is a pretty good taco place across the street and we go there afterwards sometimes.

playing at night is a lot of fun because you can play longer without getting tired because there's no heat. also HSP is well lit so you see a lot of Shadows it can be a lot of fun because you can see the shadows of people but you can't get them lol

I recommend that everybody needs to bring some type of a duffel bag or some type of rolling duffel bag, to put their stuff in, Brian I do have lock boxes to keep extra valuable things like wallet and keys, but for the most part you want to stay away from the lockers because Friday nights are all about playing not walking back and forth to the lockers not fixing guns, as soon as you show up pay your entrance fee get all your stuff ready to go, and it's quickly as possible get on the field.
