Paint Club and Painting Soirees are both held in my art studio in the Art District on Santa Fe. Both are great for new and experienced painters. Here is the scoop...
Painting Soirees are fun acrylic workshops - or guided painting sessions. All of the art supplies are provided in the registration fee. We have a featured painting of the evening, and I show you step by step how to create your own version of it.
I don't believe that there is any right or wrong way to paint, only good or bad results. So the only rule at Painting Soiree is to enjoy the process. And perhaps to keep your left (analytical) brain in check.
Meet-up group members save 20% off the regular price of workshops. Or you can bring your own supplies for a 50% discount. (The 20% has already been discounted on the meetup page when you rsvp. If you'd like to bring your own supplies, rsvp and then change the price on the payment screen.)
Paint Club is not a class, but unstructured time where we each work on our own projects. Sometimes it's very social, and sometimes everyone is more focused.
Painting can be such a solitary experience; it's good to be around other creative people. And it's nice to have other people around to advise and give feedback should we need it.
Sometimes meetups have to be cancelled due to low enrollment. When this happens, I cancel 24 hours in advance to give everyone enough time to make alternate plans.
If you need to cancel, please give me 24 hours advance notice, and I'd be glad to give you credit towards another class. Sorry - no credit will be given for last-minute cancellations, as I've held a spot for you that could have gone to someone else.
