Aisha & her younger teenage sister showed up, right on time, when for the first time when I was late. They were zestfull, determined to make the 4.7 mile hike inspite of cold, inexperience and having on just normal street shoes. Hats off to them, they did it and I followed along, inspite of my sore throat and sore legs from day old 5k race AND we had a blast !!! Thanks kiddos

Is the trail good for strollers?
1 · April 20, 2013
Saw many folks with babies & strollers last time but mostly at lower level and not many at steeper sections as that would be much more strenous.
Thinking of bringing my 2 nieces, ages 10 & 13, esp. if others are bringing kids too.

Pack up your hiking or sturdy boots & start getting ready for this moderate to strenous hike. Young children are welcome but may not be able to make the 2.8 mile to 6 mile hike on Maryland trail. Though there is plenty for them to do. Grown kids would definitely love it. They have a gorgeous outlook up above. Must see, if you've never gone there before.
