We have been eating Primal/Paleo for over 3yrs and have no interest in going back to a SAD diet. We love the fact that eliminating sugars and grains has allowed us to experience the wonderful flavours of real food.
Initially to reduce my carb cravings but other improved health markers for both of us have been amazing. So much more energy, feelings of being more alive. I felt like a weight had been lifted of my shoulders and my husbands chronic indigestion disappeared.
All of Mark Sisson's Primal books, Robb Wolf, Loren Cordain, both Gary Taubes books, Nora Gedguardis. We also subscribe to several Paleo sites: Mark's Daily Apple, Chris Kresser, Dr. Briffa, Diane Sanfilippo, and others.
We would love to hear speakers talking about a diet that is less reliant on carbs. We have already eliminated processed foods but the sharing of recipes would also interest us. What do others consider Primal/Paleo to mean. What changes have others made? What health issues have improved?
My DH and I have been eating Primal/Paleo for more than 3yrs now. Love this lifestyle and way of eating. Lately have been exploring a more LCHF way of eating. Love learning and meeting people.
