Meatza at Uno Chicago (part thrice)

We've experienced Lou's version a couple times, now it's time to give Uno's a chance. Anthony's given it two thumbs up so let's see how it compares to Lou's.

I am guessing 1-2 slices for each of us... both meat for me and probably one of each for my two guests (my husband and an out of town friend of mine who introduced me to paleo in the first place)

I would want the Numero Uno meatza. Anyone coming from the Vernon Hills/Buffalo Grove areas? Maybe carpool?

I am curious about this meatza thing... Uno's and Lou's. I look forward to meeting you all as this most likely will be my first Paleo Chicago meetup (unless something else comes up in the meantime).

I am coming to Chicago during this time (From Dallas)! I also work for a Paleo Food company: www.personaltrainerfood.com but I was interested in coming out, but kind of shy... Lol. I <3 paleo, though!

I think I'm forming an addiction to the Lou's Meatza, is that wrong? I'm ready to try Uno's.

Yum!!! That Farmers Market "vegetarian version" (until we get our hands on it with the delicious meat crust) sounds divine!! Looking forward to this!!

Hello everyone! We are about less than a month away from destroying a circle of deliciousness. To give you all some incentive of the wonders of flavor we will be embarking on, here are links to the descriptions of their two specialties. Both will be made with a sausage crust.

    • FARMER'S MARKET
Vegetarian version of 'the works'. Caramelized onions, spinach, sun-dried & plum tomatoes, eggplant, pesto, feta, mozzarella, Romano on nine-grain crust
    • NUMERO UNO® - THE ONE. THE BEST.
A 'works' pizza with sausage, pepperoni, onions, peppers, mushrooms, chunky tomato sauce. Topped with mozzarella & Romano

Oh and we can also make our own! Spinach, garlic, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and feta anyone?

For those of you that will be taking a train from the city. Take the 'Union Pacific' line from Ogilvie Station to the Arlington Heights stop (Below is the link of the times). The area isn't far from train station and one of us can pick y'all up! Let's just make sure we coordinate the train to take.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
