Dinner from Panera's hidden menu

I want to check out Panera's hidden paleo menu...who's interested?
Thursdays at 6:00pm work for me or weekends for brunch (they have 2 breakfast bowls and 4 lunch/dinner bowls). Any suggestions?

I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting Nicole, Erin and Alison. I ordered the Mediterranean Turkey salad, and it was tasty. It wasn't filling enough to be a standard meal for me, but I would order it again, though I'll probably try the steak wraps next time I'm there.

Let me know if anyone tries the steak options--I'd definitely like to check out this menu at one of my local Paneras!

I'll definitely have to check this out soon. I had a breakfast sandwhich from Panera 3 or 4 years ago, which was the best breakfast item I've ever eaten. If their non-bread options are 1/2 as good, I'll be happy.

I had the steak! I would definitely recommend it!

Overall the steak lettuce wraps were pretty tasty though I wish there had been a little more toppings but it was pretty filling.

Nice! I didn't even know about this. I'll have to check it out in my local Panera.

This will be my first meetup, and I'm really looking forward to meeting you! I'll be in a dark blue coat.

It's so nice out I'm not even sure which coat I'll be in! lol

      Do all paneras offer this?

      March 6, 2013

    • Nicole

Yes...but not canada. I also heard they have a secret gluten free menu. Who knew?!

I went to Panera yesterday for lunch and ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Salad off the "hidden menu." It was really good! Funny thing was I forgot to specify a side and it came with bread, which I quickly asked to replace with an apple. :)

I can't remember the cost but I think it was comparable to their other salads.

FYI - Art Inst is free 5-8PM. Just in case anyone wants to hit it up before or after.

      March 6, 2013

    • Erin

Given my work schedule I'd say after. Looking forward to it.

Thursdays at 6pm or a bit later work for me too...or we could hit the free Thursday at the Art Institute first and then Panera. Just a thought.

Yes, the Picasso and Chicago was very nice. I might actually hit up State St shopping before we meet up.

I'll put one down for this Thursday at 6:30 and then maybe we can pick a weekend day (like the 23rd) for those who don't have weekday availability.

Since it's in the city, weekends would be better for me but of course it depends on the exact date. So go ahead and plan it and I hope I can it :).

Saturday will work for me this week, but not Sunday. After this week, it won't matter.

    March 4, 2013

  • Alison

Weekends would work best for me. If we did a weekday, I'd have to go 6:30 or later.

    March 4, 2013

  • Anthony A.

I won't be able to do the city ones since I work out in the 'burbs. :-(

    March 4, 2013

  • Rachel

I just read about this the other day. I'd be up for it! Thursdays around 6 would be better, but brunch isn't off the table, either.

    March 4, 2013

  • Matt

I could do brunch, Sunday, 3/17.

    March 4, 2013

    • Matt

(just saw the location) Downtown would be a little tougher logistically, but not impossible.
