The purpose of this group is to bring together people that understand the importance of Ancestral Health, and are interested in real food and natural Paleolithic lifestyle choices. The Paleo diet focuses on the foods that humans have evolved to eat for the last 2.5 million years, including naturally fed/raised meat (such as grass-fed/finished beef) and seafood, wild game, vegetables, fruit, seeds and nuts. Those who follow the similar Primal Diet, which includes natural whole fat dairy, are also welcome.
This diet is known by many names - the Caveman Diet, Paleolithic Diet, Hunter-Gatherer Diet, Evolutionary Diet, Primal Diet, Stone-Age Diet, Low Carb (LCHF), and Gluten/Grain Free. Even if you're just into the Zone, Atkins, or any of the other low carb diets, this is a great group to exchange ideas and information and just be social!
