Palm Harbor School of the Novel "What's it all about?"

IMPORTANT LOCATION & DAY CHANGE FOR MEETUP

We will be meeting the first Tuesdays each month at Organic Life, a sweet little cafe in Palm Harbor Plaza at 19N and Alderman--across parking lot from Ace Hardware, is our new venue. Arrive early enough to take a look at their healthy menu.  Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.

Join us to meet some of the most promising writers in Pinellas County. Readings, topic discussions and the joy of sharing highlight these Meetups. All writing types are welcome from fiction to non-fiction, poetry to lyrics, short projects to full-length novels. Ages 18 to 108 are welcome; teens between 15 and 17 will have their own meeting time. Invitation to learn about joining a smaller group to meet on an ongoing, year-round basis is offered at each MeetUp.

I have much to discuss with you all about upcoming events.  Coach Shirley Schirz brings 30 years experience in teaching English, journalism and creative writing to the Palm Harbor School of the Novel. She is a widely published national and international poet and short story writer. Her knowledge of "writing the novel" is extensive having completed four of her own. She presents at writers' workshops, has conducted a week-long writer's retreat in Northern Wisconsin and works as a manuscript editor, aka book doctor. More questions? See you 1st Tuesdays...and you can email Coach Shirl from this site. Or sign up here.

What fun to be Elizabeth's writing family and have the distinction of buying the last copies from her first run of her first novel, "Moonflower"! Find it at www.amazon.com.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
