Are you willing to learn how to get prepared?

Absolutely willing and looking for others to coach us.

Are you willing to promote a positive image of Preppers?

Of course.

Are you willing to help organize regular scheduled meetups?

Not sure what I can do but always willing to help.

Preppers believe that "everyone" should get prepared. Are you willing to be inclusive of others no mater their race, religion, gender, etnicity etc...?

Tell us what got you interested in preparing and what you would like to see happen with this group.

I took an interest in prepping after Y2K. We did not really believe that anything was going to happen but we saw others in a panic so we did store about 3 months worth of food. We gave little thought to anything else. On Dec 30th I attempted to go to the grocery store to buy supplies for a new years eve party and was shocked at what I saw. All bottled water and toilet paper had been wiped out from people that thought Y2k was the big IT. I realized right then what it will look like when something really does happen. I do not make alot of money so prepping has been out of reach until last year when I became determined to figure out how to prep on a budget.

My name is Terri. Myself, my SO and my teenage son have recently moved back to the AV. I have been keeping a limited amount of stored foods since the Y2K but just recently (about a year ago) took an avid interest in serious prepping.
