Comatin Cellars Wine Tasting Event
Meet the winemaker Adam Comartin
Wednesday August 14th
For 12 years, peninsula native, Adam Comartin has been the assistant winemaker at Testarossa Winery here in Los Gatos, which specializes in Burgundian and Rhone varietals. Recently, Adam has decided to leave his Alma Mater and pursue his own label, Comartin Cellars, on a full-time basis.
Adam has made Grenache his premier varietal of choice. Using his skills from Testsarossa, he crafts beautiful, silky and lush expressions of this Rhone varietal. Since branching out on his own…he now has bottled other varietals such as, Chardonnay, Syrah and now a fabulous Rosé for the summer.
The Wine Room will be pouring:
2011 Santa Cruz Chardonnay
2012 Adelaide’s Rose
2009 Cuvee Cassidy (85% Grenache, 15% syrah)
Flight Cost $15
Please go to the bar when you arrive and let the staff know you are here for the Tasting Event. The Wine Room's event will start at 5:00pm. Our group starts at 5:30. I will be there early so come whenever you want.
Also, if you are newbie, we are very casual. Come any time between 5:30-8pm. There is no formal speech that the winemaker or representative make. They walk around and talk to everyone individually. It’s more intimate and personal.
For the best mingling, stand, do not sit!
Move towards to back of The Wine Room for more breathing room. No need to crowd around the front door.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting new members!
