Animal Release Ceremony

Come Join Us:

Saturday, February 23 @ 3pm

245 College Ave.,  Apt. C, Palo Alto

Buddhists believe that saving the lives of others (no matter how big or how small) is a precious opportunity to create the causes for increasing one’s own longevity, prosperity, inner joy and happiness, and compassion for others.

In this Animal Release Ceremony, we will release crickets, worms, and other small animals that would have been killed, fed to other animals or used for bait, and allow them the chance to live their life as well as receive blessings from the recitation of very powerful mantras (Buddhist chants & prayers) that remove obstacles and increase health, prosperity and longevity.

This beautiful practice helps give everyone an appreciation for the preciousness of life and is great for the whole family to participate and enjoy!!!

For more information, and to RSVP please call Julie @[masked], or accept the invitation through Meet Up.

Sounds like a beautiful ceremony. But I wish we could do something to make sure homes are found for abandoned animals and to stop people (who do no need to eat the animals) from hunting. One step is for people to keep cats indoors, spay their pets.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
