Bring a print or electronic copy of Corneille's Le Cid translated by A. S. Kline (http://www.poetryintranslation.com/PITBR/French/LeCidActI.htm). It's important that we all have the same translation because otherwise, we will have radically different scripts.
We'll switch around the parts each scene.
Don't worry about the quality of your performance; come and have fun.
We're meeting at the Li Ka Shing Learning and Knowledge Center's ground-floor cafe.
The address is 291 Campus Dr Palo Alto, CA 94305, Palo Alto, CA.
The cafe is the lobby of the Li Ka Shing building and has plentiful seating for 20+ people; you won't miss it once you enter the building. Give me a call at[masked] if you have trouble finding the building or the cafe.
Li Ka Shing center (LKSC) is a Stanford medical school building, and I'm a Stanford medical student.
You can find a map of parking at Stanford at http://maps.stanford.edu/sites/all/lbre-shared/files/maps/files/shared/file/maps_records/Parking_And_Circulation_Map.pdf. LKSC is in box E5 on the map. On Saturday, there is free visitor parking right beside LKCS and in a parking structure at the intersection of Roth Way and Campus Drive (E7 on the map). Because Google maps doesn't map the Stanford campus well, I recommend taking a look at Stanford's own map.
