Beginning Yoga/Meditation Practice

We'll start off by centering ourselves with Hamsa breathing. Then we'll move into some gentle warm-ups and practice simple hatha yoga asanas (postures). We'll end the hatha yoga portion of the class with a 5-minute deep relaxation.

Next we'll do the Siddhanath Golden Lotus Meditation, a wonderful way to relieve stress by bringing the attention from the head to the heart. We'll meditate for about 20 minutes. People who have been initiated into Kriya are welcome to practice the Kriya techniques. We close the class with the Earth Peace Meditation to send peace and love to all.

Please wear comfy clothes and have your stomach empty for at least one hour before the class. If you have your own yoga mat, please bring it.

No donations are necessary, but suggested donations of $10 toward the classroom rental are always gratefully accepted.
