Investigation of Spooked In Seattle Ghost Tour's New Location!

Sorry about the late notice but this is a great opportunity to investigate a known haunted location in downtown Seattle.

Here are the directions via one of our members: "This is in Pioneer Square at the 110 Cherry Building: cross streets are 1st and Cherry. The entrance is at 102 Cherry, next door to Cafe Bengodi, and the location has a solid, square awning that reads 'Ristorante'. The gate to get to the doors (down some steps) will be locked until I get there at around 10. This is a deep lower level and a fairly large area. Please bring a folding chair if you want to be comfy(not many seats down there); definitely a flashlight- and of course any and all ghost hunting equipment you have- snacks/drinks too, might be good! It will be damp and musty down there- FYI. I figure we could investigate from 10-2. We should be able to have access in the future as well should the team wish to investigate here again! If anyone is traveling from the south sound, do let me know if you might want to give me a ride home on your way back-my husband has to pick me up otherwise!"

See you all on Friday night!

Well, Richard was the only one there at 10:10 when I showed up (tour ran late!) I showed him around, he took photos, then wanted to leave- which was fine by me. It was about 11 when we left. Then, the Wan Huanyuan calls me- after we left- wanting to know where we were!! I told him I was not going back to open the area up at this point.

I'd love to try this one again. The turnout surprised the heck out of me, also.

wow! kind of surprised at the lack of turnout for this thing! Since there isn't many of us, maybe we could wrap up early at about 12:30 or so- then I can take the last light rail home!

hauntings reported there: recorded in Ross's book! I heard way back in the day was an opium den, a brothel, was also a speakeasy. has a lot of history: pioneer square is the oldest section of Seattle.

    Cynthia,
I looked on Spooked In Seattle's website but it seems to still list the old location. I'm not savvy enough to find the new address. Do you have that?
