The Scole Experiments by Tom Vullo (Don't Miss!!)

Polaris North Theatre (map)

Selected By: Dan

On Sunday, May 23rd at 3pm, Sturges Paranormal is pleased to announce a lecture given by MI:ST Society Co-founder Tom Vullo on, The Scole Experiment. Tom gave a lecture for us in January entitled, “An Introduction to The Scole Experiment.” I received more than a few emails from people who weren’t able to attend but who were interested in the subject and where they could see Tom give his talk. Tom was nice enough to agree to come back and give us an expanded version of the lecture he gave in January. This is a fascinating subject that I’m sure everybody will enjoy learning about. The people who were lucky to see Tom give this lecture in January were all pretty blown away by the results of The Scole Experiment. Please, try not to miss Tom give this lecture. I’ll post information about The Scole Experiment and Tom below. Normally, these lectures are given on the last Sunday of the month, because that Sunday falls during Memorial Day weekend we moved the date one week earlier to the 23rd.

As usual, all the profits from this lecture will go to Marthe, the child we sponsor in Togo, Africa. We sponsor Marthe through Plan USA, which is a great organization that you can read about HERE. Marthe’s birthday is coming up so we’ll take a nice group photo to send to her, because I’m sure a nice photo of a group of paranormal enthusiasts is EXACTLY what every little girl wants, right?

The price for this lecture is the normal $20 at the door or $15 in advance through PayPal. You can RSVP and pay for your tickets HERE. If you have any issues with PayPal or paying in advance just contact me and we can make other arrangements. Complimentary snacks and drinks will be available.

Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing everybody on May 23rd.

The Scole Experiment chronicles the extraordinary results of a five-year investigation into life after death. At the beginning of 1993 four psychic researchers embarked on a series of experiments in the Norfolk village of Scole. The subsequent events were so astounding that senior members of the prestigious Society for Psychical Research asked to observe, test and record what took place. The investigators encountered evidence favoring the hypothesis of intelligent forces... able to influence material objects, and to convey associated meaningful messages, both visual and aural. Four people sat in a dark cellar. Two of them went into a trance and conveyed messages from a team of spirit communicators. The other two followed the spirits' instructions. They put brand new films on the table, films which had never been in a camera. Afterwards the films were developed. Images were found on them - handwriting, hieroglyphs and other symbols and messages ... This was the work of the Scole Experimental Group. It offered thought provoking evidence in support of the notion that there may be life after death.

TOM VULLO is a filmmaker and writer living in New York City. He has always been fascinated with the paranormal and founded the MI:ST Society with John Galvin in 2008 to further his search for understanding the nature of these strange events. His day job is in advertising.

    Hey Donna,
No, sorry, there will be no books for sale today. Best bet would be to check out Amazon, but ask Tom today, I'm sure he could point you in a better direction on the subject that I could.

    See you later!

This Lecture on the Scole Experiments impressed me very much ! I like the way the family did that study for so many years and tried their best to get evidence of life after death. Even though the Skeptics shot them down by saying Scientifically they did not do a good job by making sure the mediums did not fake anything, their Evidence was compelling enough to want to invegistate this ever further. I am very interested in this, and i myself wish i could do somthing like this. If one has only a remotely open mind it will at least give them something to think about.

There was someone sniffling constantly. With the acoustics in the room I missed literally every fifth word. I had to leave early out of aggrevation. What a disappointment and waste of money. I was really looking forward to this.

It was as in depth as you can get I think without having been present at the experiments. I read the book thoroughly and feel that he was excellent at representing what occurred there and was thoroughly informed about the details, even going beyond the book into follow up materials of the members. Highly recommend this presentation to anybody and feel he should do a DVD or youtube presentation so more people can find out about this incredibly important experiment. The book is pricey at $50 and you have to get it from England, so it's not very accessible to U.S. citizens.

I commented during the Q & A portion after the presentation that the images developed on the film strips completely validated the authenticity of the Scole Experiment for me. Seeing them again after the January presentation was exciting. I am thoroughly fascinated with the ornate quality of the writings, the different styles of penmanship, the different colors of the letters. There is just too much detail to dismiss this as a fraud. I am a firm believer in the Afterlife and the Scole Experiment only added to my conviction. In addition, Tom discussed that Scole Experiment Days that have been conducted in recent years, and a "guide book" was written following the shutdown of the Scole Experiment. This is important knowledge that is still shared today.
