FREE Niagara Haunted Road Trip. Photography, EVPs, Coffee and Chat

  • August 24, 2013 · 8:00 PM

This is a FREE event. All it will cost you is gas and coffee money.

This event is being posted on all 3 groups, the limit is just to keep the number of cars down, please car pool where you can.

Grab your camera and recorder and let's explore some of the haunted locations in the Niagara region. We will try to get to as many as possible in one night.

Here are a few to get us going. Please feel free to submit locations you would like added, and we will see if we can fit them in.

• Screaming Tunnel, Niagara Falls

• Drummond Hill Cemetery, Niagara Falls

• Battle of Chippawa, Chippawa (Niagara Parkway)

This event will require that you can travel between the locations. We encourage car pooling so anyone who wants to go but has no car, please let us know. We will also start a conversation thread on the message board.

If you had any questions about EVP recording, what recorder to use or low light photography, this is a great opportunity to learn as you go. We will be stopping for coffee and snacks along the way.

I just joined the group and hope this event will happen again as I have never been to the Screaming Tunnel and have always wanted to. I used to go to Battlefield School when I was a child which is beside the cemetery. I used to get unusual feelings whenever I played near the bordering fence or walked along the path from the school to Drummond Rd that runs beside it.

      Hi
We will be going again probably in the spring, we need to wait for the weather as a number of members drive up from Toronto. I will try and organize some local events for the Niagara group.
      Cheers

Good to hear Sophie. Sometime investigations can get so intense that we take that intensity home with us and find it hard to sleep. The thing to remember is that is they could move around freely they would most likely not choose to stay in some of the places we visited last night. I can't wait to see you and your friend again (sorry I forgot her name). Let Diane know next time you're shopping in town. :)

Deb, it was so great meeting you and Diane. Hope to see you both soon. Send me an email so that I have your email and I can just send you an email when I am planning on going to St. Cat's. Even though you hate shopping, you could still join us for drinks or something? Her name is Jennifer.

Since I felt the spirits yesterday and it was confirmed by camera, emf, ghost box etc, I thought I bought. one home with me. I kept hearing rustling like someone was unwrapping plastic and tapping. then a moth came flying at me, while i was in bed, I killed it. the noise stopped. it was not a spirit.

I enjoyed it very much, specially when Joe spoke with us at the Chippawawa Battle Ground. It was amazing. I always wanted to do that.

Are we going to make sure we stay together driving? I have no idea where anything is. I haven't been in Canada in over 12 years.

Really? I go to Western NY frequently! Where are you coming from? Crossing at the Rainbow Bridge? If so, it's easy enough to get to McDonald's as Lundy's Lane is one of the main streets and the cemetery is around the corner. Could probably go along with someone from there. :)

I do plan on going over the Rainbow Bridge. So, that should be easy. Thanks.

This will be my first meet-up and my Mom is going to tag along as we have been interested in these old battlefield cemeteries for a long time. How will we recognize the group at McDonald's?

I have photos taken at Drummond Hill Cemetery on the anniversary of the battle there. They were published by Buffalo paranormal researchers and I saved them. They are pretty freaky!

What about Fort Mississauga? My sister and I investigated there a few times, with some amazing results, including a full bodied apparition and some pretty definitive EVPS.
