Dear Parents and Young Writers,

A Big Thank You to all who celebrated our 2012 Book Launch at Linden Tree!

Now, we're wrapping up 2012 with a complimentary creative writing workshop.

Create Your Own Toy Story
Young Writers Workshop, Ages 7-12
Sunday, December 9, 2012
1:00pm - 2:30pm

Have you watched any of the Toy Story movies?
Or wondered what it would be like to be in Santa's toy shop the week before Christmas Eve?
What would happen if your own toys came to life during the hours of your dreams?

If you'd like to play with these ideas, this workshop will give you the perfect chance to
explore your imagination and make up your very own "Toy Story"!

RSVP "Yes!" Today and tell your friends.

We have room for 12 Young Writers, ages 7-12.

Our workshop includes:
* a highly interactive warm-up game
* creative writing time
* time to read your stories out loud
Young writers who were published in our 2012 anthology are invited to read excerpts.

Please bring:
* a new or favorite toy to inspire your imagination

    Yet another fun and excellent workshop! This final workshop for 2012 allowed our young writers to dive into their current stories, or start a new one from scratch! We also had a reading from one of authors from this year's anthology, <i>Bones of Mystery.<i>

    We also introduced a new dice-rolling storytelling game, and came up with a hilarious tale that has some future potential as a real short story! I'm sure someone will write it down.

    Thank you to Bryony Autumn and Professor Pennington for opening their home for this workshop. And thank you to all the parents who brought snacks and other goodies in support of our young writers!

    Happy holidays everyone, and see you in January 2013!
