I am a mother of a toddler with Fragile X Syndrome, which is similar to Autism. I am seeking to build a support group for parents who understand the struggles of children with special needs, be it emotional, mental, or physical. Mom's and Dads and caretakers are welcome! As parents of special needs, we often find that we don't "fit in" in typical mom's groups, nor do we always have alot in common with them. I'm hoping this group allows us to share our stories, lean on each other, have NIGHTS OUT, talk about our children's developments and hardships and maybe even build a support network for our children themselves.
