Hello ! I am a Canadian designer/jeweller/goldsmith living in Paris since 1994. I have an atelier/ boutique in Montmartre.
It is endlessly charming.
Montmartre; as it has retained some of it's early 19th century 'village' aspect, despite the tourists.
Let me count the ways.
Any night, winter or summer, crossing the Pont Neuf and seeing the view down the Seine lit up in it's evening colours.
Q: If you could have lived your life in Paris during any epoche, which would you choose ? A: It is a toss-up between under Louix XIV and Francois 1ere, but I think in the end (as I work in a luxury goods profession), it would be extremely interesting to have the experience of living during the epoche that created the very first luxury goods and marketing industries, which was under Louis XIV and Colbert.
"I am a one-of-a-kind, hand-made jewellery specialist working in silver, gold and platinum, with 20 years experience."
Got home ok and you? It was so lovely meeting you too, Shauna! See you soon in one of the meet up dinners, on Facebook or in our neighbourhood!
Bonsoir Shauna, thanks for your message, what an interesting evening that was last night and I really enjoyed making your acquaintance. Lunch in the 9ème sounds delightful and a lot more appealing than eating at my desk!
Have a wonderful weekend in this spectacular city...A plus. Emmanuelle
Hi Shauna, Lovely to meet you too. I hope you had fun during the rest of the evening - I'm sure the party continued until late...
I made it home fine, thank you, although not on a Velib! I'm sure I'll see you again soon. Have a great weekend. Rachel
I took your suggestion to join PUA :)
Thanks. Nice talking to you too. See you soon. Cheers.
Hi, Shauna! Late arrivals are never a problem, especially with the larger events like our holiday parties -- special cocktails and entrées will be saved on the side for you to savor when you get here. Cheers, and thanks for joining.
