Vernacular India 2014. Quand l’éléphant perdit ses ailes


There is an exhibition going on at Galerie Anders hus till the 24th Mai. Its centered around the Gond art, a form of contemporary art from the Gond tribal community which is amongst the biggest aboriginal communities of Central India.

The evening at the embassy will be animated by Anne Chevalier Laustsen (Galerie Anders hus), Padmaja Srivastava (promotor de tribal art), Christian Journet (President of the assosiation Dupatta) and Barbarat Pillot (translator for the story of the elephant). The meeting will be followed by a reception.
