Durga Puja

The season after the monsoon rains in India is referred as Sharad and the festivals that are held during the period are referred as Sharadotsav. Sharadotsav is the traditional name of Durga Puja and also for Navratri in different parts of India.

As in other years Maison de l'Inde and Sammilani will celebrate their four day autumn festival (Saradotsav) at the Maison de l'Inde from 20 October to 23 October with cultural events starting from 19:00.

The rituals will be presided over by Swami Veetamohananda, President, Centre Vedantique Ramakrishna and cultural programmes will be directed by Kakoli Sengupta.

An occasion to meet on the last day!

Program for the evening:

19h00                Arati

19h30                Visarjan(end of rituals)

20h00- 21h30   Cultural programme .

Event hosted by Maison de l'Inde.

It's supposed to be on the 1st floor. The cultural program is followed by a light dinner. But no guarantees on the dinner if you are late or if its overbooked :P
