Start-Up Chile is an awesome program put on by the Chilean Government to attract world-class early stage entrepreneurs to start their businesses in Chile and help spread the startup love. Selected projects receive USD$40k in seed funding without giving up any equity stake! That's right, instead of being taxed, the Chilean government will actually help fund your business! However, yes, there is one small caveat.. you must agree to live in Chile for at least 6 months... but who doesn't want to do that?! The country is awesome.
To give you a few more real details, we are delighted to bring two amazing entrepreneurs that has gone through the program firsthand and who will share her stories with Paris ITM members only.
Anne-Sophie Dutat (Co-Founder of fancybox) and Thomas Grandperrin (ex. SmartAgro, Project Manager at Jogabo) will talk about the key success factors of the application process, the benefits, the challenges and some numbers on the Latin American market, as well as best practices.
