someone advised me to check meetup.com for possible vegan group in Paris when I was trying to find vegan friends in France and Europe
I'm vegan since 2011, and vegetarian since[masked] (it was quite long transition period when I thought eating fish is vegetarian until the point I saw a French film "Oceans"). Often I like to incorporate raw foods in my diet (especially during summer month). After I turned vegan, I realized that being vegetarian was actually very easy and it's just how you look at it and then it's also a matter of knowledge, attitude and character. I decided to apply the same 'philosophy' to veganism (why not!), and after many months of learning, I can claim now: IT'S PRETTY EASY TO BE VEGAN IN PARIS. Seriously, there are places in the world where people don't have any ideas about tofu! but here, you can find whole bunch of vegan options - not only in the shops, but in the restos, too. By the way, this group helped me a lot to discover new places. As to reasons why vegan: I think it's biologically right, however, my primary reason was for all the animals and for the better and peaceful world.
It can be anything! The most important expectation is peaceful, joyful and open-minded, open-hearted atmosphere. I enjoy activities like traveling and outdoors, sports, learning new concepts and their discussions, anniversaries and celebrations, festivals and expos, seeking the truth, and other similar.
I'm outdoor person; live near Paris; originally from Russia. I'd like to share some time with like-minded and passionate vegan people in Paris, discussing, discovering and doing whatever is vegan or related. Nature is my passion!
Really great and nice people here, who became my friends - it's something I was really missing when I came to Paris. I always feel happy while in their company. This group is also a very successful way to discover vegan places and to learn many new things about vegan and raw style of life! 5 stars!
