Modern Duologues CLOSER

Hi Folks,

For this course we're going to look at CLOSER by Patrick Marber. A drama about fractured relationships.

It was first performed at The National Theatre in London in 1997, then made into a film staring Julia Roberts, Clive Owen, Jude Law and Natalie Portman.

The script extracts are in the PHOTOS menu. (Click PAGES, at top of site. Then scroll down to "see all pages").

NOTE: On WEEK 5 I'd like to perform the duologues for other members of the group. So please keep this in mind when signing up. This class may not be suitable for absolute beginners, unless you're prepared to rise to the challenge!

Please bring a bottle of water.

Please wear clothes you can move in (no jeans, please) - you can change at the centre.

If you're going to be more than 15 mins late, I ask you not to enter.

PAY ON LINE €60

PAY ON THE DAY €70

Scene 4. LARRY and ANNA. From START to "Wonderful thing, the internet."

Scene 6. ALICE and DAN. From “Alice enters. She’s wearing the black coat.”  To “Make some tea, Buster.”

Scene 9. ALICE and ANNA. From “How did you get so brutal?” to END OF SCENE.

Best Regards,

Peter
