Nascent theatre experience started with an appearance in the chorus of my school's production of 'Little Shop of Horrors'; this was swiftly followed-up with a 'B' in GCSE drama. More recently, I took part in several student theatre productions as a post-graduate student at the University of Nottingham. In chronological order: 'Metamorphoses', Mary Zimmerman (Various roles) 'Six Characters in Search of an Author', Lugi Pirandello (played the character of "Director") 'Dracula', Steven Dietz ("Dracula") 'Fire Raisers', Max Frisch (chorus) 'Fashion', Doug Lucie ("Robin")
Over the last 5 years I saw a number student productions at the University of Nottingham's 100% student-run 'New Theatre', to name a few: 'The Libertine' (Stephen Jeffreys); 'Arcadia'; 'The Real Inspector Hound'; 'An Ideal Husband'. Outside of Nottingham, I had the chance to see the musical 'Fela', based on the life of the Nigerian musician Fela Kuti, when it came to the National Theatre in 2011.
