ok,[masked], and considering that a partial inverse [[masked], according to Roland Emmerich in what might be his last movie] is the end of the rhetorical world, or rhetorical end of the world, or just continuation of war as usual throughout the holiday season, we should grab this date. I mention the date because Nick, the bartender at Kitty O'Sheas, told me that things were slow because that was coming up, so I hope you do show up, since by that time it will be too late anyway to receive your survivalist bargains straight from the manufacturer in China via ebay. Etc.
Projections. These have been long promised. I don't know how many movies we will show, it depends on how many you finish or just bring, pretending you finished recently. I can't guarantee we will use the projector... bar projection technique is complicated. Someone should bring a portable computer, just in case I forget the remote again.
Planning... last night, at our second fall meetup [my apologies again for the neccessary slowdown], I saw Carlo jump on planning a short film with the few other folks who were there, so I can see we have developed good or at least neccessary habits, and so we'll try to keep these lurching, sometimes somewhat angry productions going. It is a great thing!
Networking.... that means Xmas drinks I guess, if you can afford more than one at Kitty O'Sheas, which I admit is a bit expensive, but of course you can go to a cheap bar alone or with others afterwards and drink more then. Or before, if that is your habit. Maybe a bad idea to BYOB to the bar however, they are our hosts.
The site and fb pages will be more active, and I will send out as usual a link list digest of what went up there.
So,see you there, or not... if we get to keep our western calendar in the coming years, I will try to follow it better, month at a time, with meetups, hopefully.
