We look forward to creating a more self-sustainable community and abundant health through reconnecting with the land and building a self-sufficient edible landscape for our community to enjoy and share. Our food travels 1,500-2,000 miles from picking to our plate. It's picked early, before ripening, through traditional industrial farming methods with lots of chemicals and fuel. It is our intention to migrate to a more simplistic method of gardening that takes away the absolute need of people for the survival of the garden, so that we may spend more time enjoying the fruits of our labor! We are looking to establish an edible park, an educational space for budding young minds, a relaxing area for people to get away and find peace with a nature that we work with, not for.
