New Meetup: A Change of Pace (and Price): Dinner at the Blue Ribbon Brasserie

Announcing a new Meetup for Park Slope Brunch Group!

What: A Change of Pace (and Price): Dinner at the Blue Ribbon Brasserie

When: October 17,[masked]:00 PM

Blue Ribbon Brasserie
280 Fifth Ave
Brooklyn, NY 11215

Brunch is good, but sometimes you want a nice, fancy sit-down dinner.

Please join me in sampling the surf-and-turf delights of the Blue Ribbon Brasserie ( at 280 Fifth Ave., between First St. and Garfield Place.

Blue Ribbon is part of the Bromberg brothers' burgeoning restaurant empire. In fact, they have two Blue Ribbons -- the brasserie and a sushi place -- right next to each other in Park Slope (make sure you meet us at the brasserie).

Blue Ribbon gets excellent reviews for its range of dishes, from its $34 rack of lamb to its $18.50 catfish sandwich. It has a vast wine selection, and its desserts are considered among the very best in the Slope.

Note: This is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than our usual brunch places. DO NOT RSVP YES unless you are prepared to spend the money. You can check out the menu here:

If we're a group of at least five, I can get reservations. But a large group could also make it difficult to convince the restaurant to split the check into separate credit-card bills. So please be prepared to pay for your portion in cash.

I'll send my cellphone number to confirmed attendees shortly before the event.
