The idea behind this meetup is to provide a convenient spot off of the Brooklyn ended N&R Train for people to meet and make new friends. It's also intended to be a somewhat low key thing with only couple dozen people. That way you're sure to actually be included in the conversation.

We have a RSPV limit to most places we meet. If you RSVP, try and show up. If you change your mind try and change your RSVP too. It isn't a huge issue but if you occupy a spot you're also potentially preventing others from coming out.

This group ins't run by a club promoter or anyone looking to make a random buck. If you're familiar with other groups in NYC, it can be pretty annoying to see RSVPs showing 4 actual poeple and a head count of 200. It also can be annoying to see a 25$ admission fee for the privilage to purchase 10$ drinks. We are not that. That said, if you're hell bent on showing your gratitude to the organizer of the event your at, a drink for the organizer or round of shots for everyone says is all :)
