St Marys Church Bunny. the largest church in South Nottinghamshire. West tower with spire, nave and aisles of 5 bays. Mostly 14th Century. Inside is a monument to Sir Thomas Parkyns (1662-1741) who built the local hall. He was a remarkable character ; collector of stone coffins, author of a Latin grammar, trained lawyer and enthusiastic amateur wrestler, physician and architect. He designed the Hall and the local farm buildings. Ted looks suitably impressed.
