“ Of course I love it. I have danced there 29 years! and it feels like a family. Most of my friends, I have met dancing at the Pasadena Folk Dance Co-op. I met my husband while attending a similar folk dance group in Colorado. Our Pasadena group is slowly increasing. Our dancers range widely in age and dancing ability. Some of us are a little quirky and some of our dances are a little hard to learn but once you get to know them you will treasure them. We always provide some introductory dances at the beginning of most nights, except when we have special parties.. A few of our Meetup members attend without RSVPing and that is fine, but I it would be so much better if everyone RSVPd in order to entice more new Meetup members to attend. If most of us RSVPd, new people could see some of the people who are coming and wouldn't have to walk into a room full of complete strangers. ”
