REGARDING PARKING: There is street parking around the area. Please don't park on the sidewalk or block any driveways or gates.

Be aware that Makawao is a one way road heading mauka and a head on collision nearly occurred recently.

The address is on North Kainalu and NOT South Kainalu. Big difference.

When I started out on my raw foods journey, just minutes ago, reading books were a great source of valuable information and kept me inspired to eat right, try a few new things and do what was best for me. I would like to show you a few of the books that I recommend, take a look at a few that you may have, and find some on the shelf or request them. Did you know that it is free to get a library card and that there are many books on raw veganism available at your local library? I have saved around $1000 just by borrowing books instead of having to buy all the books I have read and reread. The library is a short walk from my place. The library closes at 5, so get here when you can.

The event is free and nothing is required.  Food/drink and recipe sharing is optional.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
