PFS campaign

This will be the first of a series of four sanctioned modules, with the intent that the same players will play through all four modules using the same characters each time. This will take 1st level characters through to 5th or 6th level, and is a great oppurtunity for new players to get started in the Society or for veterans to satrt a new character concept. First up will be a choice of modules: either the classic dungeon crawl "The Godsmouth Hersey", or the murder mystery "Murder's Mark". Both are level 1 modules, and players must use a first level character (please note that this doesn't mean that the character must be brand new, just that it must have less than 3 xp). After that, we will proceed through the "Price of Immortality" triliogy, starting with "Crypt of the Everflame". When responding to this post, please include your preference for the which module you would like to start with. Majority will decide, with my vote deciding any tie.

Another great PFS event. Looking forward to the next session. Great meeting the new Pathfinders and making new friends.

Had a great time with some very knowledgeable old school gamers. Looking forward to our next game.

I might be a few minutes late. I can't seem to get out the door today.

Doh. If anyone can't make it, let me know!

I'm assuming we're doing point buy, but how many points?

I was referring to the Vanaras: http://paizo.com/path... - which, it seems, are not allowed (glad I asked!) The Tengus have similar stats, so I can adapt my monk to that race, unless it's too odd to have a Tengu monk.

Actually, though I dislike the Con penalty from a gameplay standpoint, I like the Tengu better from a roleplaying standpoint. This should be really good.

    Hey all,
Mike, I'll be running a Fighter.
Wade, you should go to this page (http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about) as a starting point for Character generation. Also, you should download the Society Players guide (http://paizo.com/products/btpy84k4). It has most of the answers on Race, Class, point buy, factions, faction traits, etc.
I'm sure if you show up with a basic framework we can help you whip your creation into shape before gameplay begins.

    See ya',
    Paul

Not much time to discuss this before we play tomorrow, but what classes are people planning on playing? So far I've seen a Wizard and a Lion Shaman or Alchemist mentioned. I'm thinking Barbarian myself.

    May I play?

      Yay!

Just to clarify, we will be playing ONLY ONE module that requires a level 1 character, correct? I ask this because I have only one character and after the first game he will hit level 2, so if we play another module that requires a level 1, I will need to make one today.

Hi Pathfinders! Is there room for one more? I'm a D&D vet but I've only played Pathfinder once (and loved it).

Trying to figure out which character to play now...I've been thinking all week and building different mods...so far I'm torn between a Lion Shaman and a Alchemist (with prospects of being a Chymist)...I may even have a different mod altogether by the end of the week, so I'll just bring them all

I have no preference between the Godsmouth Heresy and Murders Mark. I would need a ride from a metro station or better directions to attend. Google Maps is telling me there is no way I can make it in a reasonable time.

Mike I assume you will be taking the Red Line and then either the Blue or Yellow. If you want, you can take the Blue all the way to the end, to the Franconia/Springfield station and I can pick you up from there, as it is only a few minutes from my house.

Franconia/Springfield is not a problem. I am familiar with the station.

I've done MM, I would like to do Heresy just for something different.

I plan on bringing a wizard with 1 or 2 gm credits.
