This group is dedicated to the Pathfinder RPG system, specifically the Pathfinder Society campaign supported by Paizo Publishing. The purpose is to coordinate, schedule and communicate events for Pathfinder Society in Southern and Western Virginia . Gamers who live in or travel to southern and western Virginia  are welcome to join this group.

More specifically, our purpose is to:

  1. Promote local interest in scheduled Pathfinder Society events and Pathfinder home-games.
  2. Build a community for local players of the Pathfinder Role Playing Game.
  3. Discuss rules, products, character concepts, Organized Play comments/concerns, and all things Pathfinder.
  4. To provide a central go-to location for new players.

Pathfinder Society is a style of “organized play” in which characters can be played at events across the globe. Characters are developed normally and can progress from level 1-12 over a course of roughly 33 adventures that average 4-5 hours in playtime. Each “season” of play contains a minimum of 28 adventures that span the entirety of Golarion. Join thousands of fellow Pathfinders to “explore, report, and cooperate” and get to know your local players.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
