RISK AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT

Weather Risks: A chance of snow/rain, chilly temperatures, high winds, sunburn.

Travel Risks: Roads always have the potential to be snow packed, wet, or ice covered on the Berthoud pass.

Water/Ice Risks: Shore fishing - This early in spring the water is extremely cold and sometimes still has ice. There is always a wildlife risk, please be cautious of your surroundings.

Safety Plan: When fishing, there is always a risk of injury with sharp hooks and other gear. A short safety class will be given to those who want to fish. The water is very cold and could still have ice, keep an extra close eye on small children and keep them out of the cold water.

Volunteers and Staff:  We will be carpooling from

the Wooly Mammoth Parking Lot U.S. 40, Jefferson, CO @ 6:00 AM May 17th, 2014.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
