AMVETS Post 26 Wheels for a Cure Ride

AMVETS Post 26 in Valrico is hosting a run in support of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This is a little known AMVETS post and it has a brand new AMVETS Riders group. Individually these AMVETS Riders have always supported of our efforts (they are most often confused with AMVETS Post 44).

Registration is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a KSU at 10:30 a.m. The ride will be an AMVETS Riders lead 84 mile trek through the back roads of Brandon, Valrico, Lakeland, Haines City, Lake Wales, Frostproof , Fort Meade and back to Dover around 12:30 p.m.  Once back in Dover we will have lunch, the raffle winners will be announced, door prizes will be given out and a silent auction will be held.

Cost is $20 per person or $35 per couple. This ride helps AMVETS raise money to help cure Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.  100% of the money raised goes to JDRF. Let’s support this little AMVETS Post, provide a welcome to and introduce the new AMVETs Riders to our group.  We survive by supporting each other.  I look forward to riding with you all.  Grumpy

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
