The tea party movement has been a welcomed sight to see in our country. The average citizen feels so disenfranchised from our government as we appear to be more irrelevant than ever to our elected officials in Washington D.C. The Bush and the Obama administrations whether it be with bailouts or out of control spending have ignored to call to be responsible and frugal with tax dollars and have left the citizen to do nothing but stew in our disgust. This Tea Party allows my family to have a voice.

http://www.gadsdenandculpeper.com is a site I used to order my stuff. There is a free shipping code "DTOM" that might save you a few bucks as well. I just got the code from them this past week and was encouraged to share it so best of luck. Their products are good stuff and are shipped fast.

It was so fantastic to see so many take a stand....Rand, the UT student did a very good job and it is his generation that is going to be totally swamped with debt of the present government...it is time to take back what has been stole from the USA !!

I was so proud of my Fellow Patriots, and was so proud that I am a free American. Taking the Oath to our Constitution once again was truly inspiring. Seeing every person with their right hand raised, repeating the Oath left a lump in my throat. WE must continue what has been started and keep our voices raised. Thank you so much to the organizers, speakers, staff, and Blackwater. We showed that WE are all true Americans. NO APOLOGIES NECESSARY !!!!

I have been waiting for nearly 30 years for my fellow citizens to wake up. The Tea Party proved how Freedom brings people together in a most positive, peaceful manner. WE must keep up the momentun!!! It was fun, inspiring, and long overdue. Thanks to all of my fellow patriots. BRAVO!!

Your number above doesn't allow enough digits! Probably 4,500 there! Was exciting, motivating, and inspiring. I think it served it's purpose to demonstrate the anger over over spending, over taxing, and the movement toward greater socialization. I hope our leaders were listening as these events happened all over our nation!

I wish Rand had displayed a bit more passion like he demonstrated at our meeting. Regardless, he was great. Saw lots of great signs. By the time the march was to begin, I think most people were ready to find a bathroom and a place to get warm. Stewart Rhodes did a great job, but went a little long. LOVED the energy and enthusiasm.

It was OVERWHELMING, AWESOME, AWE-INSPIRING, PATRIOTIC, UPLIFTING and my husband and I got to hang out with approximately 2500 of our best friends! The speakers were inspiring (especially the award winning professor from UT), as was Rand Cardwell and the young man from UT. I heard there were between 3-4000 people in Knoxville, approximately 10,000 (could this be possible?) in Nashville and that across the nation, each tea party was an overwhelming success. I pray that this is only the beginning of our movement and that our actions will persuade our so-called representatives in government to start voting in ways that will improve and not destroy this country. God Bless America! Bob and Ava Stamper, Baneberry, TN

If you ask for numbers, don't limit the number of characters. There were at least 2,000 people there.
  • Ralph Pollard
Very enjoyable time meeting with others of like minds. The bus ride was helpful. There were in excess of 2,000 people attending at the peak and there were another 1,000 than came and went.
  • Jerry Bell
It was a wonderful and refreshing experience to see so many Americans and Tennesseans gathered to celebrate their right to free speech and affirm their Constitutional freedom.
