Hi, my name is Stefanie and I am involved with a fundraising program called Paws 'N Pins. It is our mission to help animal shelters and rescue groups during these tough economic times by hosting fundraisers at JIB Lanes located in Flushing, Queens.

As of today, we have hosted benefits for Bobbi and the Strays, The Little Shelter and Rescue Ink. Future events include SaveKitty Foundation on May 9th, North Shore Animal League (date TBD) and Angel on a Leash (date TBD) and Forgotten Friends of Long Island (July '09).

This Meetup group would enjoy bowling at planned events and raise money for shelters, rescue groups and related charities at the same time. ALL ARE WELCOME, including children!

Here's an event overview:
*The fundraisers are held on dates & times advertised
*Bowlers pay $15 (which includes 3 games & shoes) and $5 goes directly to the shelter/charity
*Raffles and 50/50 are held and half the proceeds go directly to the shelter/charity (Raffle donations are accepted)
*Lane sponsorships are sold with half the proceeds going to the shelter/charity
