Serve Dinner @ the Men's Homeless Shelter, Raleigh

PROJECT LEADER: Theresa Baschon

Let's join the Activate Good team to serve up meals and smiles at the South Wilmington Street Men's Shelter in downtown Raleigh. After serving dinner, volunteers will assist with some clean up.

PARKING
Parking is available in the lot behind the shelter.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:
When you arrive, please check in with Theresa and sign in on both the Activate Good waiver and the Men’s Shelter waiver.

WHAT TO BRING / WEAR
Dress is casual / comfortable. You do not need to bring anything for this activity as they supply hair nets, plastic aprons and food service gloves.  Please pull your hair back and if you like you can bring your own apron and hair covering. 

CANCELLATIONS
If anything has changed about your availability please update your RSVP immediately so we can have an accurate head count.

    Hey Theresa,

    With work and rush hour traffic on 40, I don't think I can reliably make it at 5:00. Do you have a need for 6:00 to clean up?

      No we don't Tony specifically need anyone for cleanup. Sorry that you work so late on Sunday. The shift is 5:00-7:00, but we usually are done by 6:30. Thanks for thinking about helping out though. Perhaps another time will fit your schedule.
