My name is Theresa Baschon and I am the organizer of the new group "Pay it Forward."
Paying it forward is a third-party beneficiary concept that involves doing something good for someone in response to a good deed done on your behalf or a gift you received. When you pay it forward, however, you don't repay the person who did something nice for you. Instead, you do something nice for someone else. For example, if someone changes your tire while you are stranded on the highway, you might shovel your elderly neighbor's walkway after a snow has fallen.
One of the most important things that people should remember about this concept is that it should be done with a selfless spirit. This means that one person helps another without hoping for repayment or good deeds in return. In fact, there are some organizations that allow people to pay it forward anonymously, donating money or performing good deeds without hoping for recognition.
The greatest act of kindness is the one that is freely given because you care about another person and want them to be happy and you don't expect anything in return. The thing about kindness is that it has its own rewards and will improve your sense of well-being and happiness; what more could you possibly want?
Please understand Pay it Forward does not require a Grand Gesture, but small deeds/ gestures. and looking out for the fellow man, woman, and/or family!!
In this economy many are suffering hard times and could use our help. You and your family can be that Help that someone just may need Right NOW!!!
The REFUND POLICY is as follows: You must pay the RSVP fee to help pay for the ingredients for the specific event you would like to volunteer for. All events RSVP list will close 24 hours prior to the event. Therefore, if you do not change your RSVP before 24 hours of the event starting a REFUND WILL NOT be given and you will be REMOVED and BANNED from the group. If you cannot attend an event and it is within 24 hours of the event starting, please contact the organizer to inform. My cell & text number is 919-798-4265 and my email address is PIFMeetUP@yahoo.com.
If there are only a certain number of attendee's allowed due to reservations, not showing up may have left someone waiting that actually could attend instead of an empty seat. Please just be aware of that. Thanks!
