Local Artist Chris Lang is displaying 21 pieces at Concordia Ale House with Wendy Whitacre, a lot of the pieces were taken/enhanced with a LensBaby (local camera lens company) and a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet.

Chris Lang will be present from appx 5:30pm. She will be there to discuss her work and do a questions and answers session.

Hello!

We haven't talked about Photoshop Elements for a while, so I have decided to do a session on Elements' Quick Fix Tools!

Come learn how to correct red pupils, whiten teeth, make the sky more blue or make part of an image black and white all in the Quick Fix window!

The tools we will be talking about tonight are available on Photoshop Elements 7.

There is a $5 fee for this meeting or $40 for 1 year of meetings. The fee helps cover the costs to keep the group going, as the organizer has to pay a fee to use this web site.

Within 24 to 48 hours from your payment, you should receive a link to the meeting. Also a reminder will be sent out an hour prior to the meeting.

I know it has been a while since we had a meeting, this one will be ONLINE (via Adobe Connect)

There will be no fee for this event but donation will be greatly appreciated to abe able to keep the group going.

In this meeting you will learn the basics of using Photoshop.

How to get your pictures into Photoshop and organize them
A brief overview of Camera Raw
Cropping and straightening an image
Taking something from one image and placing it into another
A quick way to fix under/overexposed images

This is a great meeting for photographers, scrapper, desginers and anyone that wants to learn the basics of Photoshop.

On the new meeting schedule we will now have Photoshop Elements meeting every other month.

In this meeting we will be discussing how to shapen your images, including:

- How to use the Unsharp mask;
- Correct Lens Blur and Motion Blur;
- Understanding the High-Pass filter;
- Using the Sharpen Tool.

This is an excellent topic for photographers, scrappers and anyone that need more detail in their images.

A lot of the information from this meeting can be transfered over to Photoshop CS4, but we are going to be talking about the dialog boxes in Elements 6 and 7.
