Peace, Love & Mommyhood is a very active group full of kind, thoughtful, fun & diverse moms who are excited about raising our children in a community of the same, while having fun!

This group will focus on creative and educational playdates, art, music, community service, learning about other cultures and much more! We hope to create a close network and make friendships for ourselves and our children that last a lifetime. Many of our children are between 18 months and 3 years old, so the majority of our playdates will be toddler-appropriate, but there are PLENTY of 'all ages' events and we have an event organizer with a 5 year old to help make sure there's plenty to do for the older kids! We are excited about volunteering with the kids and getting others in our community involved too, and have managed to find ways to teach kids to 'give back' even at their young ages :)

Moms will be strongly encouraged to participate in singalongs, lessons, and dance parties and to share some of their families traditions for each season or holiday at our seasonal gatherings, so that children expand their circle of knowledge and comfort to become more accepting individuals and embrace cultural diversity.

There is a very good chance that if you like what you're reading, you will find true friends in this group - both like-minded and not.... because we consider our differences to be opportunities to learn and grow, and these things are important for moms and kids alike :)
