This summer, I'll be leading my first ever trip to Morocco! It will be an incredible adventure. It won't be a typical bus tour, in which you only visit the Imperial Cities. This tour is for the adventurer who really wants to explore the country, meeting the locals, and 'Experiencing Morocco' from a locals perspective.
Thomas has lived in Morocco for over six years. He has spent extensive time in country as an environmental volunteer. Stationed in various villages around the Moroccan countryside, he got to know the area and the people. He started working with Journey Beyond Travel, LLC because he found that other tour operators did not take people to see the 'real' Morocco.
Fazia is the Morocco Tour Coordinator with Journey Beyond Travel. She came to Journey Beyond Travel from a diverse cultural background – Portuguese, Brazilian, Guyanese, and Indian. Recently, Abdel has begun to put together longer itineraries in his region and throughout the souther oases. He, too, is currently building a small gite where tourists can spend the night to enjoy the area in its full splendor.
