The teacher is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher. Kripalu Yoga combines the postures of Hatha yoga with breathing techniques, meditation and compassion. Postures are never rushed - poses are more gentle and relaxed. Kripalu yoga recognizes that an individual's body and mind are naturally wise, perfection in the classical postures are not the goal. Kripalu yogis are encouraged to become sensitive to the needs of their own bodies and make posture adjustments accordingly; observation without judgment.
