Wildcats

Wildcat Mountain is at the southern end of the Carter-Moriah Range.  It's mostly wooded, but there are great views along the way.  A Peak (4,422 ft) and D Peak (4,062 ft) are on the NH48 list.  C Peak (4,298 ft.) is on the Trailwrights 72 list.  You must have recent (in the last 2 months) 4K footer experience to sign up for this hike.

We start as a group, hike as a group, and finish as a group. Our pace will be that of the slowest hiker. This trip isn't for you if you are faster than the group and don't want to stay with us, if you want to head off on your own, or if you are slower than the group and expect us to constantly wait for you.

Please read the entire event description before you RSVP. It is important, not only for your safety, but that of the entire group.

TRIP SUMMARY

We'll meet at the 19 Mile Brook trailhead at 7:45, spot cars there and drive 4 miles south to the Lost Pond Trail trailhead to start our hike there.  This hike is 9.3 miles with an elevation gain of 3,400 feet and is expected to take us 6.5 hours.
